ECONOMIC EQUALITY FOR WOMEN: The imperative of March 8, 2011

transnational anti-globalization NGOs were published at various women's organizations a manifest absurdity, but full of content colonizer comically titled "March 8 - International Women's Day: No There decolonization without despatriarcalización - Progress Rules for Equity. "

What these NGOs transnational anti-globalization and colonial claim, is that women in Bolivia fight for new laws and executive decrees, as if that will advance gender equity. If legal policy they were, women already have all their rights protected, but the reality is different and very hard for them.

For example, according to the National Statistics Institute (INE) 2007, 10% of the Bolivian population had no schooling, 4% of men and 16% of women. Most alarming is given in rural areas, where "work" these NGOs supposedly transnational anti-globalization and colonizing, 23% of the population has no education, 11% of men and 34% of women.

According to the State Constitution all children are entitled to education, then the question arises: What new law will change this situation? NO.

These positions, which were presented at the Constituent Assembly, inflation generated articles in the Constitution of the State, which in reality do not apply, for one simple reason, to paraphrase Bill Clinton: The economy stupid! Until there

economic equality for women, all laws and constitutions be a role for the landfill. Economic equality is not achieved with the legal norms, but with economic measures, creating jobs, making Bolivia, for example, in a country you can order food supplies. According to INE, although their statistics are very poor by the political misuse of the data does, in January 2011 raised the legal importation of food in $ 10 million compared to January 2010, representing 46% increase.

A country that can not feed its own hands is not worthy or just these NGOs sovereign transnational anti-globalization and settlers are those who argue that international trade should not be subsidies for the production and export to developed countries provide producers. Why? Because food dependency unit is the worst that can exist, this is the most refined contemporary neocolonialism.

In Bolivia, where 60.10% of the population is poor, the worst part the women are 61.20% in the urban area with a 52.01% versus 49.73% of men and in rural areas with 78.24% against 76.28% of men.

Therefore, instead of giving long speeches extolling the virtues of women and their selfless fight for better living conditions and asking for more laws and executive decrees, we must promote the productive and services to create jobs.

Decolonization begins with the industrialization of our gas, minerals and legal coca, ceasing to export raw materials, this itself is a legacy of 500 years. Why

posed by transnational NGOs, anti-globalization and colonizing as many legal rules in favor of Bolivian women? For the simple reason that laws will not improve the situation of our compatriots, especially in rural areas, so NGOs can continue profiting at the expense of women's poverty in Bolivia.

In this March 8, 2011, my humble message to the courageous women in Bolivia is to fight as Azurduy Juana de Padilla, on an equal footing with men for work, food and social justice, and those that are stretching hands for la limosna de las ONG transnacionales, antiglobalizadoras y colonizadoras, dejen de hacerlo y luchen por la industrialización de nuestros recursos naturales. Sólo así se crearán fuentes de trabajo para mujeres y hombres de este país, recién podremos ser dignos y soberanos.
